Program Guidelines & Usage
To ensure a fair and secure experience for both our couples and local merchants, the following program parameters apply:
15-Month Validity: Take your time planning. All vendor discounts remain fully active for fifteen (15) months from the date your Match Certificate is issued.
One-Time Use: Each specific discount or promotional offer provided by a business partner is valid for a single redemption per couple.
Non-Transferable: Incentives are strictly exclusive and may only be redeemed by the specific couple legally named on the digital Match Certificate.
Identity Verification: To protect our partners, businesses reserve the right to verify your identity via National ID alongside your in-app certificate.
Please Note: While our business network updates regularly to provide the best value, all final fulfillments, standard warranties, and discount provisions remain the sole responsibility of the respective participating merchant. Guyana Matrimony acts proudly as your platform facilitator.

Unlock the Code: Right on the vendor’s profile card, they will see an exclusive discount banner. Once their digital Match Certificate is active, they can instantly view their unique in-app coupon code (such as CAKE10).
Pre-Order & Save: The couple connects with the bakery to customize their dream wedding cake for the big day. When placing the pre-order, they simply present the in-app coupon code to the cashier to instantly cut 10% off the total bill.

(For Couples) How do I unlock and use the vendor coupon codes?
Once you and your partner successfully match on the platform and are issued your official digital Match Certificate, the coupon codes on the Vendors tab will unlock automatically. When pre-ordering your services or visiting a showroom, simply show the unhidden coupon code on your app screen to the merchant to receive your discount.
Can I use a single vendor discount multiple times?
To ensure fairness for our local business partners, each specific merchant discount or promotional code is valid for one-time use only per matched couple. However, you can use as many different vendors from our directory as you like!
How long do I have to use my vendor discounts?
We know that planning a wedding and setting up a household takes time. All unlocked coupon codes and partner incentives remain fully active for fifteen (15) months from the date your Match Certificate is issued.
What happens if a vendor refuses to honor a code?
While Guyana Matrimony hand-picks reliable partners, final fulfillment of the discount is the sole responsibility of the participating merchant. If you experience an issue with a code, please report it to our support team so we can review the partnership.
(For Vendors) Is there a fee to list my business on the Vendor page?
No! Joining our curated network of business partners is 100% free. There are zero listing fees or hidden costs. We simply ask that you provide a genuine, exclusive discount or incentive to support our newly matched couples.
What if my business category is different from the ones you accept?
We are always looking to expand our network to better support couples! While our primary categories focus on wedding services, honeymoons, and home essentials, we welcome any local business that offers genuine value to newlyweds. How do I verify that a customer is actually from Guyana Matrimony?
